1. Spicy Garlic Chili Chicken

Ingredients

  • 500 g boneless chicken (cut into cubes)

  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp chili paste

  • 1 tsp red chili flakes

  • 1 tbsp vinegar

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1 tbsp cornflour

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • Salt & black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix chicken, soy sauce, salt, pepper and cornflour. Marinate 20 minutes.

  2. Heat oil in a wok or pan.

  3. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

  4. Add marinated chicken and stir-fry on high heat for 6–7 minutes.

  5. Add chili paste, chili flakes, vinegar and sugar.

  6. Toss well until sauce thickens.

  7. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

2. Spicy Fried Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken pieces

  • 2 cups buttermilk

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 tbsp paprika

  • 1 tbsp cayenne pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • Salt & pepper

  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk overnight.

  2. Mix flour, paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.

  3. Coat each chicken piece in flour mixture.

  4. Heat oil to 175°C (350°F).

  5. Fry chicken for 12–15 minutes until golden and crispy.

  6. Drain on paper towels and serve with spicy sauce.

3. Spicy Honey Chicken

Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast (cubed)

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp chili sauce

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp cornflour

Instructions

  1. Coat chicken with cornflour.

  2. Fry chicken pieces until crispy and golden.

  3. In another pan heat sesame oil.

  4. Add garlic and sauté.

  5. Add honey, soy sauce and chili sauce.

  6. Toss fried chicken in the sauce.

  7. Cook 2 minutes and garnish with sesame seeds.

4. Spicy Chicken Curry

Ingredients

  • 700 g chicken

  • 2 onions (chopped)

  • 2 tomatoes

  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste

  • 2 tsp red chili powder

  • 1 tsp turmeric

  • 2 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • Oil and salt

Instructions

  1. Heat oil and sauté onions until golden.

  2. Add ginger garlic paste and cook 1 minute.

  3. Add tomatoes and spices.

  4. Cook until oil separates.

  5. Add chicken and mix well.

  6. Add 1 cup water and simmer 25 minutes.

  7. Garnish with coriander.

5. Spicy Korean Chicken (Gochujang Style)

Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken wings

  • 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp garlic

  • 1 tsp ginger

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Fry or bake chicken wings until crispy.

  2. In a pan combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, garlic and ginger.

  3. Cook sauce for 2 minutes.

  4. Toss wings in sauce.

  5. Drizzle sesame oil and garnish with sesame seeds.

6. Spicy Buffalo Chicken

Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken wings

  • 1/2 cup hot sauce

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Bake wings at 200°C (400°F) for 35 minutes.

  2. Melt butter and mix with hot sauce and garlic powder.

  3. Toss baked wings in sauce.

  4. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dip.

7. Spicy Chicken Tacos

Ingredients

  • 500 g shredded chicken

  • 1 tbsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • Tortillas

  • Lettuce, tomato, cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet.

  2. Add chicken and spices.

  3. Cook 5 minutes until well coated.

  4. Add lime juice.

  5. Fill tortillas with chicken and toppings.

8. Spicy Chicken Biryani

Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken

  • 2 cups basmati rice

  • 2 onions (fried)

  • 2 tbsp biryani masala

  • 1 tsp red chili powder

  • Yogurt

  • Mint & coriander

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with yogurt and spices for 1 hour.

  2. Cook rice until 70% done.

  3. Cook marinated chicken in a pot.

  4. Layer rice over chicken.

  5. Add fried onions, mint and coriander.

  6. Cover and cook on low heat 20 minutes.

9. Spicy Lemon Pepper Chicken

Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken thighs

  • 1 tbsp lemon zest

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp chili flakes

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Mix lemon juice, zest, pepper, chili flakes and oil.

  2. Coat chicken with marinade.

  3. Marinate 30 minutes.

  4. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 30–35 minutes.

10. Spicy BBQ Chicken

Ingredients

  • 600 g chicken drumsticks

  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce

  • 1 tbsp hot sauce

  • 1 tbsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix BBQ sauce, hot sauce and spices.

  2. Coat chicken with sauce.

  3. Marinate 1 hour.

  4. Grill or bake at 190°C (375°F) for 35–40 minutes.

  5. Brush extra sauce while cooking.
